I'm going to compare Incan society to Medevial Europe. The two areas I will compare will be class structure and religious beliefs. The Class Structure (of Medevial Europe)
During the Middle Ages religion was everything and the only recognized religion was Christanity, in the form of Catholic religion. People believed that all the good things in life were due to God and that the evil events of the times were due to their sins. From birth to death, whether you were a peasant, a serf, a noble, a lord or a King, life was dominated by the church. This was also a period of great change in the church. The crusades led to a split within the church. The catholic religion was questioned and men like Martin Luther started a new religion called Protestantism. |
